I just wish that Pritt would keep hunting imaginary or real insects. After a magpie, a huge pigeon, some rats and mice, he just came home with a crow/raven........which was still alive and flapping around in my appartment.
Asselt harbour

We are like prisoners in a cave, staring grimly at the bare rock faces, where we perceive a moving shadow. They are the shadows of objects, which - are invisible to us - behind our backs and carried past by a large fire lit outside our horizon.
We turn around, and not explore the causes of the shadow, which is why we believe this to have a real world before us - the world of the senses.
But one of the prisoners to bring strength and courage to turn around and would rise out of the cave, he would recognize the objects, the cause of the vague silhouettes.
Who is that human who stands up, turns around and straight boils down to face the shadowy figures? Is it something of the shaman summons his spirits, the medicine man, the vision in mind look through by the people, the magician, who flies through the air and his body left behind half dead among themselves?

Here is the proud mama and some of her brood. There are five girls and four boys. As youcan see there is wondeful color variation and they are becoming very active- no more body surfing- and they love to play outside and eat puppy chow!Theyare starting to drink water which is a good thing in this heat.
Since I've moved to Portland I haven't had a chance to ride the western hills. It was a day of some serious climbing. At some point a wrong turn led to a hiking trail. We were lost...
