But anyways, here are the tallest of my comparison shot, my Iplehouse BID Erzulie (Mona), and Fairyland Littlefee Ante (Johanna).
It looks as though Jo is leaning here (T_T), but she's still pretty much at her full height.

The Christmas ships cruised through North Portland harbor last night, and it was great to gather together, hear the carols, munch on the treats and catch up with friends. It's a holiday tradition I love, part of what makes Portland, Portland. (although other communities, like Seattle, have similar fleets).
Seems the sun is setting before my day really gets started. Soon we'll have the shortest day of sunlight in the year--the winter solstice, Dec 21st, just 9 days away. Anyone lighting up this darkness, warming up their homes to friends and neighbors--gets a hearty "Aye, Mate!" from me. Those skippers who make the commitment to run their boats in the cold reaches of the Columbia and Willamette Rivers earn their Santa merit badge from me!
