Herman Thomas gives John Tyson Jr the finger. If your not from here, Google search it-my version would be too politically incorrect.

This is John Higby, one half of the Yo-Yo People along with his wife Rebecca. They are street performers, and they are a pretty regular sight at Fanueil Hall in Boston.
A few years ago, a band I was in at the time got the chance to do some music for a promo DVD for the Volkswagen Beetle. The DVD followed the Yo-Yo People from Boston down to New York City for there first street performance there. Here's the trailer.
It was fun working on it, and soon after we were finished, I wandered on down to Fanueil Hall one balmy summer evening to catch their show and introduce myself. John and Rebecca are two very talented and very sweet people. They travel the world and make their entire living with their act. Pretty amazing.
Every once in a while, I'll be down in that general vicinity, and I'll keep my eyes peeled to see if the two of them are around. This was the first time I'd seen them in a few years, although John was performing solo as Rebecca had just had their first baby. We chatted a bit after the show, and I took this picture. John, the consummate performer started doing yo-yo tricks unprompted, and while I had hoped for something more natural, I now realize that this is pretty much what "natural" constitutes for him. If you are in Boston and get a chance to see their show, I think it's worth a few minutes of your time.
