Thank you Lenabem-Anna for this texture #347.

Typically yellow overall, but some immatures can be almost completely gray. Most males have reddish-brown streaks below; females are plainer and duller yellow. Always looks uniform and plain-faced, with rather stout bill for a warbler. Favors brushy habitats near water, often foraging in shrubs fairly low to the ground. Common and widespread throughout North America; winters in Central and northern South America. “Mangrove” Yellow Warbler, currently considered a subspecies, is found in mangroves and nearby brush from Mexico to Ecuador. Males have a distinctive reddish-brown head. (eBird)

I have shots of many warblers migrating through, with the yellow coloring. The missing one, though, has been the yellow warbler. Finally got some shots (and sightings) of one. So, a lifer for me, even though they aren't that rare!

This member of the Wood-Warbler family arrives early May every year and adorns the trees and brush with a canary-yellow presence that is constantly in motion either flitting about or hopping from branch to branch. They constantly forage on caterpillars, aphids, beetles, inchworms, cankerworms and other invertebrates beginning the moment they arrive and will be constantly singing while feeding.

This male is taking a 1/2 second break from foraging and singing.

Their nests are frequently parasitized by the Brown-headed Cowbird. They often build a new nest directly on top of the parasitized one, sometimes resulting in nests with up to six tiers.
