Dandelion / Pissenlit (``Taraxacum``)
Small *yellow-headed wildflower* -- or WEED -- distributed in fields and lawns globally, bane of farmers & gardeners everywhere...
But... favorable growing conditions throughout the North American Great Lakes region during a long, temperate `warming-up` (Spring) of 2012 produced a truly *bumper-crop* of DANDELION flowers throughout southern and eastern Ontario -- in field & town alike!
In their billions... and trillions ... they shone in glory.
This year, the humble *dandelion/pissenlit* added a true presence of its own throughout that gentle, agrarian landscape -- an exuberant carpet of color, that shrill, bright, optimistic yellow of early summer.
It was almost like witnessing the colors of Giverney itself! and the hope of good crops to come...

Air Canada's 75th Anniversary "Cities Campaign" -- a boldly graphic bus-shelter advertising campaign in cities across Canada -- brought a refined "Madmen" touch to these urban settings glimpsed across Toronto.
The *uberkool* campaign -- with witty and insightful portraits of Air Canada's 8 major international destinations -- London, Paris, Rome, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Buenos Aires and Sunspots -- gave a welcome visual boost to Spring's arrival in 2012...
