To kick off our prep work for the Global Youth Summit, the ITU hosted special one-day MILLENNIALS JAM WORKSHOP at its ICT Discover Center, with an exclusive and select group of 40 entrepreneurial young people. The objective of this unique one-day event is to crowd-source a more detailed framework for the Summit where approximately 25,000 young people will input their ideas for the post-2015 global development agenda.

This is a session i made to these beautiful young girls.
The idea is to make something simple reflecting the youth of her ages. They did great.

On the patio of our apartment near the corner of Main St and Dyer in Santa Ana.
We had two cars, my Datsun and a Pinto wagon. The Datsun wasn't running for most of the time we lived there, so W drove the Pinto and I used to walk every day about 1½ miles each way to my employer's office on Red Hill in Irvine. Dyer was pretty different in those days, all industrial but lined along the north side by huge, beautiful ficus trees.
KABUL, 14 August 2016 - The Secretary-General’s Deputy Special Representative (Political Affairs) for Afghanistan, Pernille Dahler Kardel addressed the opening session of the first Afghan Youth Parliament in Kabul today, at which President Ghani also spoke.
Ms. Kardel said that the forum gave youth the chance to experience how democracy works, and to directly participate in its “messy, exciting, challenging and rewarding mechanics”.
“You will discuss those concerns that are most important to you and participate in the decision-making that affects your lives,” said Ms. Kardel, who encouraged youth participants to throw their hearts into their work.
Some 122 young men and women from all 34 Afghan provinces are taking part in the youth parliament this week, during which they will discuss issues related to health, education, youth participation, employment and sports.
Youth parliament recommendations will be shared with Ministry officials and discussed in the National Assembly.
