Do you have Synaesthesia?
Dont worry...its not a disease. For people who have Synaesthesia, they see colors for different things, such as days of the week, or months of the year, for different people or certain names.
Ever since I was a little kid, I see specific colors for the days of the week and months of the year; for instance:
Sunday is redish orange
Monday is blue
Tuesday is orange
Wednesday is blueish green
Thursday is green
Friday is white
Saturday is red

the tale of a girl who took it all and always wanted more.
today i had the absolute pleasure of having jessica (pictured here - what a beauty!) over for a 1-1 workshop! teaching and meeting other photographers, getting to spend the whole day with them, is my very favorite, so im always on a complete high after a day of workshopping! this lil lady also came over from north dakota - i feel so extra honored when people travel to learn and shoot with me. sometimes i still cant really comprehend why, but i couldnt be happier for experiences like this.
jessica also took this shot as a self portrait, and im sure you can watch her facebook page if you are interested in seeing her result! ill also post a link on my facebook page.
aaaaand im super happy because all last summer i wanted to use these fields but never thought of something proper to do before winter came and sucked them away! plus i was feeling like a cruddy photographer for a while now, and i actually really like the way todays shot turned out so thats quite helpful for my emotional well-being. :P

Today was really fun.. and I usually dont like Sundays (because homework and school the next day). My dad, sister, and brother are in florida so Ive just been with my mom for the weekend. This morning I did a photoshoot and then got them developed, and they turned out great! When I dropped them off, I got to look at my camera I want which was cool.. but it made me want it even more. Anyways after that we went to get groceries, and lunch at panera. I also got some stuff for school. Then I came home and did this! I drew the rainbow, so I dont have to worry about copyright issues. which leads to my next idea..
I need a camera. The one Im using is falling apart (literally) and just doesnt work out most of the times. I love it, but if I want to pursue photography more seriously, I need a slr. (and a tripod) So, I came up with this idea. Cameras are obviously extremely expensive, and not something I can just get for a holiday or something. I need to save up and buy one when I can. Anyways, I was thinking about selling prints over flickr for cheap prices, and the option to donate to my camera fund :) I havent totally thought it out, so just give me ideas and let me know if youd want to buy any of my photos. Thanks!

The Royal Navy's latest adaption of Leonardo's AW159 Wildcat HMA2, seen here fitted with wing pods and the Thales Martlet Lightweight Multirole Missile system or LMM. The laser-sensor missile can be fired against stationary and moving targets and will be used to arm the Wildcat helicopters that deploy as part of HMS Queen Elizabeth's carrier strike group next year.
