The woods do that to you, they always look familiar, long lost, like the face of a long-dead relative, like an old dream, like a piece of forgotten song drifting across the water, most of all like golden eternities of past childhood or past manhood and all the living and the dying and the heartbreak that went on a million years ago and the clouds as they pass overhead seem to testify (by their own lonesome familiarity) to this feeling. Ecstacy, even, I felt, with flashes of sudden remembrance, and feeling sweaty and drowsy I felt like sleeping and dreaming in the grass.

The Pentaprism Cover removed and a view on on the Electronics Board above the Pentaprism..
Note the chrome corrosion (see red arrow) just underneath were the Pentaprism Cover did rest on the right hand side Top Cover ! Hmmm..... wondering which process caused that ?

The younger brother of the XE/XE-1/XE-7.
I bought this camera for a few Euro's in 2012 on a market were it was stated that it was broken. However, after some attention and tender care it came back to life :-)
Here you see it equipped with a MC Rokkor-PF 1:1.7 55mm standard lens. The knurled focus ring just shows right for the feeling for the age of this system.
