Crossed the Mekong River early in the afternoon into Laos. I was pretty hungry and walked down the main street to this Barbecue. I asked for duck and was given chicken. Nevertheless it was absolutely delicious and this 600ml Beer Lao was the first drink of the trip after 1 week. Bounced back up the road slightly tipsy.
This one came about 45 minutes or so into the trip. Since we no longer had a spare, the driver took the two blown tires, and hitched a ride on a truck heading off to the nearest place to repair tires, leaving us to wait by the side of the road.
Looking across the Mekong from Chiang Khong in Thailand to Huay Xai in Laos at the very beginning of my journey in Laos.
This is a couple of hours after I sprained my ankle quite badly (close to trip-endingly-badly) in Chiang Rai, Thailand while walking with my pack to the bus station.

These boat models weren't used for racing but paraded through Huay Xai in the evening and set to float on the Mekong.
The view from the house we were staying in during the training in Mozambique. Definitely one of the plusses to all this travel.
The next morning we proceeded north along the principle coastal road EN1. The road is tarred and in a good condition. Filling stations (petrol and diesel) are available at regular intervals along the route. 8 December 2005.

Countryside around Vieng Xai. Lao people lived for around 10 years in caves under these karst moutains to protect themselves from the heavy US bombings.

Armando Ussivane, the CEO of Regaidio Baixa Limpopo (RBL) at work in his office in Xai Xai. Along with the African Development Bank , RBL is working with the Climate Investment Funds' Pilot Program for Climate Resilience in southern Mozambique.
Na cidade de Xai-xai rua de Mahumane bairro 6 de Inhamissa uma caravana de MDM passou em campanha e distribuiu panfletos do seu candidato a edil. Cerca de 5 minutos depois passou uma caravana da Frelimo que recolheu os panfletos do MDM das maios dos cidadao que ali estavam e entregou panfletos da sua campanha e candidato a edil.
Um simpatizante do MDM que apercebeu-se regressou de motorizada ao local e gerou-se alguma confusao. Na sequencia o simpatizando do MDM arrancou bruscamente com a sua motorizada e atropelou duas criancas. O motociclista inicialmente fugiu mas regressou e entregou-se as autoridades policiais.

5/ Làm ướt hai miếng bông y tế hoặc bông tẩy trang, thấm đầy gel rồi đắp lên mắt giúp thư giãn mắt sau ngày làm việc mệt mỏi (tránh để dây vào mắt)
6/ Dưỡng móng tay khi sơn móng tạo độ ẩm cho móng và độ bám màu (sử dụng y như kem dưỡng móng)
7/ Bôi như bodylotion cung cấp nước (mình xài thử rùi thx lắm vì nằm điều hòa nhiều da mất nước toàn tập mà)
8/ Da bị cháy sau khi đi nắng hoặc tắm biển, đỏ và rát bôi vào dịu ngay tức khắc
(sản phẩm mới nhất đây ạ. Hoàn toàn không chứa chất bảo quản mỹ phẩm, nhiều lô hội tươi hơn, ít gây dị ứng hơn)
