Tip toeing across the country...
7200+ miles lots of time to reflect.
I feel a bigger journey is ahead of me, one that takes me further away from my day to day. I have not been living the best me possible and not even close to my potential.
Journeys sometimes never end
Anyway the photo is a house between Cody WY and Yellowstone. FYI this is by far the best road entrance to the park.

Just amazing scenery to be had there in Montana and here in Wyoming as you cross the line between the states high up in the mountains. Captured here with the CPL filter as we made our way towards Yellowstone.
Traveling across country in a meandering (but, somewhat structured) way for a period of two months, sometimes I just needed to take a break. This evening was one of those times.
I made my destination in Thayne, WY, from Salt Lake City, UT, with relative ease. I could have pushed farther to Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons, but I was road weary, and quite frankly, getting a little tired of chasing the optimal sunrises and sunsets after over a month of doing mostly that to this point.
Of course, I still couldn't pass up a beautiful sunset, even if not in the best location. As I walked out of my cabin - the Wolf Den, just across the street (a magnificent place for a stay) - I thought I might catch a couple brief shots of rural America in the Wyoming evening.

Used the turquois red filter on this close in capture of these wild grasses in Wyoming.
