Just amazing scenery to be had there in Montana and here in Wyoming as you cross the line between the states high up in the mountains. Captured here with the CPL filter as we made our way towards Yellowstone.

Happy Fence Friday

This was captured after the snow at the this elevation that fall over night (about 1-inch) had melted ... but the snow on the higher hills still had not with the sun just popping out.

While in Wyoming earlier this year we experienced wild fire smoke which somewhat obscured our views. Thus the distant mountains here are not as clear as I would like. After we got home to Seattle we really got a heavy dose of smoke. Thankfully we had rain in the last 24 hours that has mostly washed the smoke out of the air.
