Ok...here are the other pages from today.
Not exactly sure what form this food diary is going to take...but I do want it to be the focus of my sketching for a week or so.
The goal 3kg wieght loss in 6 weeks.
Aagh! It is a bit scary to put that in writing for all the world to see!!!
I plan to have a little break from my daily sketchbook (will still use it if I am out and about etc) so that I add a little more than just food to this one.
So far today, I have been more happy with the use of a waterbrush than I have been in a while....this is good becuase they are handy...
Also, I am not going to be at all precious about how lose or messy or scrappy these sketches are... so will just see where I end up.
What a fun journey - who cares if I am a bit hungry when I go to bed at night?

Far left is the standard issue Canadian military pad. Middle is the Rhodia 13500. Right is the Rite in the Rain 946T.
Both the Rhodia and Rite in the Rain pads measure 4" x 6" -- slightly smaller than the Canadian pad. All three feature gridded pages, but the Canadian pad only has the grids printed on one side.
mail art makes letter writing so much more fun, and personal - recycled cards, collage and pen drawing, to be folded into one square after finishing the letter - envelope will have a decorated detail as well

A few months ago I came across this vintage Parker Duofold fountain pen box amongst my father's belongings. It's in very good condition but sadly, the Duofold pen is not part of the items. I think my dad bought the box without the pens at a garage sale.
Because of the royal patronage plaque, I think it's a Parker UK or Parker Canada box, as opposed to Parker USA?
