Represents that intense, all-encompassing love we feel for our children. (Most of the time!)
The image shows my youngest son's wrist identification band from when he was born in hospital. It's been hanging around the kitchen for ** years for some reason; I've never worked out why I haven't put it away safely. His birthday was two days ago, and meant that the year he was born we both ended up coming out of hospital on Valentine's day; the best valentine's present ever...! :-)
Image is less than 2.5" across, the wooden heart is around 1/3rd of inch.
It's easy to underestimate how delicate certain parts of the human body are...I don't know the story behind this gesture but I found it a little appalling in an odd sort of way.

Are wrist corsages still popular? That's what I got my girlfriend for the prom, back in high school. Apparently, this frog thinks they're still cool.

My little ballerina has a broken wrist. Such are the perils of sandpit play when you are four.

fulled the sweater in washing machine, chopped off the sleeves, added crocheted edgings, sequins and beads. Voila!

One of my favorite Seiko timepieces which I seldom wear. It was purchased in Osaka, Japan by sister who happened to visit the city at the time.
Seiko may still sell updated and more expensive versions of the iconic green Alpinist automatic, but this exact model (SARB017) has been discontinued since 2015 thereabouts.
My bracelets arond my left wrist. The one with the black, B. brought it back for me when he went on holidays. And the rainbow one, we bought one for each other one day while shopping. I still have mine, his became stuck in the scissor lift at Kmart and broke the machine.
A flea market find. This vendor has boxes and boxes of junk jewelry. Lots of tangled chains and necklaces. A shot I snapped as I walked by. I didn't really take notice of the watches until looking at it later.

A small buggy for Febrovery. Part of the Febrovery fun is that you don't need billions of bricks to join in. I think that there are more pieces in the base than in this little rover 😊
