Last year we went for a holiday in North Norfolk staying in the wonderful place Wells Next the Sea. I wanted to get to Hunstanton to find this beach and wreck which I initially discovered with my late father who did a wonderful painting of this wreck. I was so pleased to find the remains of the boat still there, somewhat reduced, with the backdrop of these amazing cliffs. Lockdown has finally given me the time to process these photos.

It happened last night. The neighbors who came to help & the firefighters kept telling me the police would be taking the pictures of the accident and stupidly I believed them. I even had my camera out and ready since I hardly ever leave the house without it. More shocking than no one taking photos is the fact that my air bag didn't go off. I'm pretty much fine, but the idea that my car's safety equipment was faulty is almost more terrifying than the accident. While I'm thanking God for seat belts, I wish there was a way for it to not leave such a painful mark on my clavicle. If I were any shorter it probably would have caught my throat.

Photos from the Thistlegorm wreck in the Red Sea, Egypt. Photos taken on 16.02.15 & 17.02.15. Natural light and Ikelite Gamma Torch used.
This was 200m from the nearest road, and had been there for some time. I checked inside for bones but there weren't any.
wrecking balls were formerly a pear-shape with a portion of the top cut off and they are currently spherical. This picture was taken in the 1950s. Pear-Shaped wrecking balls were used from 1922-1966. They do not make wrecking balls like this anymore and McDonald's did not do PlayPlaces yet when wrecking balls were like this but McDonald's does do PlayPlaces now.
