Another wreck of the week

This is near the bottom of the steps to get to Wreck Beach. There are about 400 stairs above. Not too bad going down but a killer going up. Oh and it is a nude beach. Some people should always keep their clothes on.

The oldest wrecking yard in Utah and now the property developers are trying to get Dennis McBride to get rid of all this "art work" so they can build a fancy housing project on an adjoining piece of property,. This place is so full of history and is a photographer's dream.

Pick up this journal without using your hands

Tie a string to the spine and swing it against the wall. My 7 yr. old totally loved this. This is the aftermath, the string is wedged into the spine, now a part of the book.

On the Great Ocean Walk, Victoria.

The wheel wreck represents the remains of a mid 19th century sailing vessel. The site is characterised by a mound of cargo that consists of mining equipment, mainly pipes, rising mains and clack valves associated with pumping, sheave wheels, drive wheels and boiler tubes. The identity of the vessel is the subject of ongoing research.

This is a wreck where a semi hit my car about ten years ago.

One of the filming locations of the famous Corona commercials. Theres a beach a bar, the ocean, and thats about it. Perfect beach.

Testing our backs before NZ by walking the rocky Pt Gey foreshore trail from Spanish Banks to Wreck Beach.

Jump on the book. Actually, I like the twisty marks my 7 yr. old's muddy shoes made.

A collage on one of the blank pages

As below, but close-up.

Wrecked ship off the Western Saharan coast, Jan 2008

Here you can see the little wrecking ball on chains, used as defense from RPGs and the likes.

Just around the corner, we stumbled into the clothing optional area.

I think that's where they tow the car wrecks from the bridge.

My take on "Wreck This Journal". Intentionally making it as ugly as I can. Then I plan to challenge myself -- and beautify the ugliness - then destroy it once again.

ALL pages are currently in progress at various stages.
