dead mummylike figure.. fabric wrapped around.. i am fascinated by light, contrasting colors and dark sombre expression.. of course body and space! inspired subconsciously by the movie water, consciously by my thesis.. and many other matters i constantly delve into including my internal world!
We've been trying different wraps and making some of our own recently. I buy some pre-made ones sometimes, but they're easy to make, too. I made this wrap bread in the dehydrator. It's nice way to use leftover veggies to make a quick meal.
This is my "finished" wrap jacket. The pattern is from the book Knit by Janine Flew. I'm still deciding if I truly love this or not. I intended to finish it by the end of March, but obviously failed to do so. Project Spectrum people, there's green in the background. :)

I wrap the kittens up in a blanket like this to give them medications, so they can't scratch the hell out of me. They hate being wrapped up. Ramona especially screams the whole time.
I found this chime thingie, or whatever it is, wrapped around a tree branch in Ron's garden. I really like the way this one turned out. This is the second print, out of my three final prints, for my final exam for basic photography. It's a theme assignment--I chose to do gardens.
For all of these photographs, I took inspiration from street photographer Bill Cunningham. However, I wanted to do something different, I wanted to get a range of posed and candid photographs. I stood in the street with my camera set up on the tripod, waiting for the moment as this person walked in front of the camera. I particularly like this shot, not only because of what she is wearing, but also because of the central framing and candid style.
