I bought a canvas wrap for keeping pens / pencils in. It far succeeds the rubber band I’d been using previously.
We repaired electronics with WRAP, a UK organisation whose mission is to "accelerate the move to a sustainable resource-efficient economy" - we worked with the team focused on electronics and electricals.
This wrap is 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. The center stone is fluorite. It is accented with a small piece of blue aventurine and amethyst. It is made with silver coated wire and lots of love and patience.
FLUORITE absorbs and neutralizes negative vibrations. It makes one more receptive to the vibrations of other stones. Fluorite also increases concentration and helps in decision making.
BLUE AVENTURINE opens the third eye chakra. It is a powerful mental healer that increases vitality and a positive outlook. It assists in self-discipline and developing inner strength.
AMETHYST is worn to instill a sober mind and is believed to protect one from poison. It has long been used to open the spiritual and psychic centers, making it one of the power stones. It is also used as a meditation aid when worn as a necklace.

Ingredientes:
- pão folha ou pão sÃrio [neste caso escolha os bens finos e abra-os ao meio]
- filé mignon, 6 bifes [a medida é um bife para cada wrap]
- uma bandeja de shimeji
- 300g de mussarella fatiada
- shoyu
- saquê
- manteiga
- azeite
- sal
Instruções:
Corte o filé em tiras, lave e separe o shimej, corte em tiras a mussarella.
Em uma panela do tipo wok aqueça uma colher de sobremesa de azeite e uma colher de sopa de manteiga [o azeite é importante para a manteiga não queimar], coloque a carne até que ela doure, junte o shimeji, coloque uma colher de sopa de shoyu e outra de saquê e já mexendo até o shimeji amolecer, junte a mussarella e vá mexendo até ficar um todo homogêneo. Quando o queijo derreter, desligue o fogo.
Pegue o pão folha ou o sÃrio aberto em dois [se for o sÃrio com o interior para cima] e coloque o recheio no meio dele, enrole como se fosse uma panqueca e vire a dobra para baixo para parar fechado.
Sirva ainda quente.

Tonight's dinner:
Flank steak marinated in ginger, garlic, rice wine vinegar, and ponzu. Grilled to somewhere between rare and medium rare (it was a slightly uneven slab). Wrapped in leaf lettuce with scallions, watercress, carrots, lime juice and a sprinkle of salt.
Oh yeah. It was tasty.
Bacon Wrapped Shrimp
This is one of their signature dish by Jean-Georges and for good reasons too. The shrimps were cooked perfectly. Imaging breaking a perfectly cooked natural casing sausage, and that is exactly the texture you get form the shrimps. I can taste a hint of rich and smoky flavor from the bacon and it plays really well with the passion mustard. The passion mustard, I have to say, taste a lot like sweet and sour sauce. I am not sure if thats due to my unsophisticated palate or I was craving for some McNuggets. It is really delicious but I just can't help to compare.

Now the wrap is on the car I tried some shots this evening (8:30-9:30pm) , weather a bit over cast so not the best light to use and white car always a problem. I had my remote flash trigger to hand so used it inside the car with a yellow film over the lens to get the 'light up' inside the car. Also tried it for a couple of stobist style shots lighting up the car.
any tips on shooting cars in low light/cloudy environment would be much appreciated. lol
