Picnic® Bar

Cadbury® Picnic® bar is one of the oldest and most-loved bars in the Cadbury® chocolate bar range. It’s probably the favourite son, but we’re not really meant to say that sort of thing. It’s gone through some changes over the years, but essentially looks and tastes as good as it did when they perfected it back in 1958. If you’re into nuts and wafer and chocolate and rice crisps and caramel, then BAM! You have come to the right spot.

Picnic® Bar is available in 46g, Twin Pack 67g and 228g Sharepack and 19g Special Treat pieces.

One of another great envelope with teabags for my collection! Thank you very much!!! :-*

The Mekong Delta

The Mekong Delta is the region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of distributaries. The Mekong delta region encompasses a large portion of southwestern Vietnam of 39,000 square kilometres (15,000 sq mi). The size of the area covered by water depends on the season.

The Mekong Delta has recently been dubbed as a "biological treasure trove". Over 10,000 new species have been discovered in previously unexplored areas of Mekong Delta, including a species of rat thought to be extinct

During a particularly frustrating session (and with no wifi to be found), I entertained myself by taking macro shots of random objects around me, including this butterscotch wrapper.

Submitted to the Monthly Scavenger Hunt for March 2006 in the "Empty" category.

Trying to take a smoke picture. All the tutorials I read said to use incense sticks as the smoke source. I didn't have any so I improvised - tealights, an old baking tray and a chocolate biscuit wrapper.

Why take and post a picture of such a boring thing? Because this is what makes Quanjude, even this tourist trap location, worth going to, IMO. The skins are completely different from all the other skins I've ever had with the many Peking ducks I've eaten over the course of my short lifetime. These are not ideally thin; they're a bit thicker than what is postulated to be the ideal thinness. However, they have this yeasty tang to them that melds so beautifully when wrapped around the duck, sauce, and scallions. The chew and heft substantially increases your pleasure as you bite through the various layers.

I place a lot of value on the wrapper as many restaurants neglect this crucial part of Peking duck, so this is probably my favourite wrapper I have ever consumed. I would be happier if it was thinner though.

These beautiful filigree wrappers have been available since 2007 but have been hard to purchase outside the USA.

Buying international with postage made them very expensive in the past.

They are now available to Australian customers and offer a multitude of designs to suit many occasions.

If you don't see what you are looking for, let me know and I can check my supplier.

I do not keep all wrappers in stock so notice will be needed to allow for ordering and delivery where necessary.

I swear that it seemed like more than half of the garbage I saw on the streets of Saskatoon this winter was from McDonald’s.

Maybe it means that people in Bridge City eat almost as much McDonald’s food as they eat any other fast food. Or maybe it means that people who eat McDonald’s are more likely to be pigs.

God help us if these had been chicken nuggets or if Wapner had been involved
