This top takes a bit of work to put on but looks awesome once it's there.
This is a picture of my two youngest wrapped up in quilt my grandma made. She made one for each of her kids (11 living) using scraps from clothing she wore or made them over the years. My dad's wasn't finished before she passed away so my aunt finished it. When I was 18, my dad gave it to me and I've loved and cherished it ever since. I've even had to repair it a time or two making that three generations to sew on it. :) Truly a labor of love.

This was for Chad's birthday this time. We wrapped everything in his cube prior to filing it with balloons. We wrapped everything in his cube including some sticky notes and plastic flags that were sticking up out of his monitor. Since it was partially Michelle's idea, and she wasn't there to help, we decided to wrap her desk too. That was a lot of fun.
The bark on this dead Birch Tree had slipped down and looked like it had been wrapped around the trunk like a present.

Happy birthday Melissa! The birthday-girl's son drew his Mom's birthday message. His artwork was scanned and printed with edible ink and paper. Inside are layers of both chocolate and vanilla bean butter cake with chocolate and vanilla buttercream filling.
Unfortunately this picture doesn't really show the bit of silver that is spun into the blue yarn. This has ties that can wrap around, as show, or tied in the front. The pattern is the cover pattern from Summer 06 Knit1.
