O'Briens RV wrap

I know its a plastic wrap, not a carbonfibre, but I had my reasons to do that. Last summer I've had a little accident and damaged a lot of left side. Turn signals, tank cover, mirror and many more. And it cost a fortune to repair. So I've decided to wrap the seat cover instead of buying new one. All by myself. Yeah, it's not perfect and it will need re-wrap, but for the first attempt it's not that bad.

"Wrapped" Christmas Pillows for Lisa

This year I'm making loads of pillows for friends and family for Christmas gifts. I totally loved the pillow wrap project I found in Creative Machine Embroidery's Sept/Oct 2010 issue. I made a couple pillows for my fall front porch decorations, and have now made a set for my sister, Lisa. She has a strange, dark personality, and the Halloween designs from UrbanThreads.com fit her perfectly. I made the basic, everyday pillows in black cotton with "Halloween" designs on them. She will love them. Then the pillows are wrapped with a happy Christmas fabric with kitty applique from EMBLibrary.com and buttons. So, this dark gal can actually decorate for Christmas in a snap. I can't wait to give them to her.

Today's lunch, a Mediterranean wrap (grilled veggies and feta on lavash) from ABP (Au Bon Pain or A Bit Pricey).

I tried to take a TON of pictures today. I ended up using this one that I snapped off right before I uploaded everything to my computer.

I put a wrap on one of my dreads and I gave them all a good palm rolling. Working on my dreads makes me feel good. They give me a confidence that you can't understand unless you've got them yourself. Before I got them, I hated my hair. Sure, it was pretty, but it didn't suit me. Now it does, and I love every minute of it.

With just a few easy steps, yo can turn two squares of fabric and some ribbon into this season's comfiest trend - a pair of saron wrap pants.

From Simple Modern Sewing, the wrap dress/top with the cap sleeves. Sorry about how wrinkled it is, but it's hot here in Maine today and I am bit damp. Anna Maria Horner voile, which is truly light as a feather, best possible fabric for this weather. Not sure about the cap sleeves, and the V can get a little revealing sometimes, but man, is it comfortable on a hot day.
