Collection of photos from CCR2015 Social Hour hosted by Morrie's Heritage Car Collection. Thanks to Justin, Adam, and Josh. Cars on hand included a Viper or two, few Corvettes, Porsches, Chryslers, YellOHH Honda S2k, Inifiniti, Ferrari, BMW, and many more.

The rally takes place and starts in Minneapolis on August 28th, where participants drive down to Chicago, and then back to St. Paul on the 30th. Teams are directed to obey all traffic laws in an attempt to claim 2015 Central Crown Award. The trip to Chicago can take as long as 9+ hours, but as short as 5.5hrs depending on how spirited you may be driving.

Ultimately, the end goal is to have fun and raise money to support local charities around the Twin Cities area. This year Central Crown is promoting, supporting and raising awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project. To find out more info please visit these links: www.woundedwarriorproject.org/

May ever person viewing this photo take the time to stop and reflect, and remember the true meaning of Memorial Day. Without the sacrifice of those fighting for our freedom, Memorial Day would just be another day. Please do not let them have died in vain. God Bless all those who serve to keep us safe each and every day. Remember the Wounded Warriors, and Never Forget 9/11. Thank you.

Happy Veteran's Day. Thank you, veterans and active duty service members, for your service to our nation, to this flag, and to the principles and values for which this banner flies. Thank you for signing that blank check which would be cashed you knew not how: peacetime service, wartime service, wounds, lost brothers, memories you may rather not have, the loss of your life. Your valour and the valour of those who've come before you and will come after you are what preserve our homeland and the light of liberty throughout the world. No summer patriots you; no, you are the best of what America can be, and you inspire and remind the rest of us what liberty costs.

We cannot thank you enough. But...I love you all, and think it's safe to say those reading do, too. What you've given is deeply, deeply appreciated, though we may not know how to express it.

Civilians, please say thanks to these men and women, wherever you see them! It might be a little nerve-wracking at first, walking up to a stranger and saying "thank you" and asking to shake their hand, but...They appreciate it, in my experience, and it doubtless really does brighten the day for both! Our troops aren't arrogant, and most don't really seem to like being considered heroes, but...they are. Please treat them with honour, respect, and gratitude, no matter which side of the fence you're on.

I've collected some wonderful Veteran's Day links for you all to enjoy and share. Just a note, though: You'll probably need tissues.
