To sum it up, children should be motivated to involve in play-time that also acts as bodily exercise regime. Yoga and aerobics are a nice start as it also entertaining in many ways. Teaching kids about hygiene factors (such as washing hands with soap before and after meals or dealing with dirt, wearing fresh clothes, washroom etiquettes etc.) at schools and homes are also beneficial. Along comes healthy eating habits, enough sleep-hours help children remain healthy.

To mark World Health Day on the 10th April Doctors of the World is presenting its findings on the data collated from Project:London, and other health programmes in 10 other European countries, to MEPs and other stakeholders in Brussels. The report’s key findings from 2011 data found:
• 34% of patients seen at Doctors of the World’s centres perceived their state of health as poor or very poor despite the fact that the mean age of the group is 35.
• In cases where treatment was required, 46.2% received no treatment.
• 79% of pregnant women who were asked if they received antenatal care replied that they did not.

SCALE-UP builds upon CHF's previous programming experience in India. In addition to improving the physical conditions of slums making them safer and healthier to live in, the program worked to provide access to low-cost medicine, daycare centers and access to affordable credit and financial literacy training.
