When I'm on my own or during the weekend, my crap camps out in front of the computer in our living room when it's stuff that doesn't require my sewing machine or hanging out in my craft room.
It's a bit smaller than the average workplace cube, with twice as much stuff. I don't think I could get a better angle on this with Matt's 10-22
...and finally, just to prove I can, running graphical applications in any screen is obviously possible too.
My "digital darkroom" / "workspace." As you can tell, it is entirely too small. My 15" Macbook Pro, 500GB Maxtor fw800 drive (behind the MBP) and Dell 2007FP take up the whole area. Down to the left is my desktop which does nothing but run Seventeen or Bust and run NX Server. My Fujitsu P5020D is on top of it. It doesn't get used for anything anymore, except I guess updating Mapsource for my GPS.
today's upload for revamp is a little bit different. last night, for the first time since my return from senegal, i dreamt about being there. i was about to return to visit my senegalese family and i couldn't wait to see them and surprise them. and then i woke up.
so i'm feeling a bit melancholy about it all. this picture corresponds because it reminds me of a time when i was melancholy. and when i painted about faith that i felt i was lacking. writing in my journal all the burdens i felt.

The view from my workspace around 1988 complete with unrebuilt Bulleid, M7 and bottles found in the garden.
You can see she left me to do the dusting as it was MY 'corner'.
The view includes damage in the woods caused by 1987's hurricane but is about to be blocked by the neighbour's extension.
A senior woman focuses on crafting jewelry at her cluttered workspace. Surrounded by tools and materials, she skillfully works on her creative project in a bright studio.
Barely organized chaos! Dollar store bins to colour-code my scraps and the first few strips of colourful stripey bits for sashing. The crazy log cabin quilt is started!
When my best friend Leslie found out she was pregnant with the first child to be born to our circle of friends, I decided to start a quilt for the little monkey, whatever "it" would be. They didn't want to know the sex of the child so I went for gender-neutral colors, and as many of them as possible!
I had a lot of fun making this quilt, and it is far from technically perfect, but I love the way it turned out.

Little Wampus was well-behaved as she kept me company while I worked. She napped on and off, but she managed to wake up enough for this photo.
She doesn't look as much like a Maine Coon as her sister, but she has her moments.

This is my desk at uni. The boxes the computer's sitting on are two boxes of Dooley's Toffee Tippers - gotta work with what you've got, yeah? ;)
