Excerpt of Derrick Beckles's "Workout Video" project, which was a long montage of various terrible workout videos. It was a great example of horrible, horrible television. It was a bit long, but hilarious at parts due to the way it was edited. This was simply an introduction to the climax of playing his Totally For Teens failed AdultSwim pilot, which totally should have been picked up.
Anyway, this video was great bad tv. Being forced to watch it for an eternity, however, would constitute some special, fucked up hell.
I wish this video was available to the public! But I'm sure there are major copyright issues...

BACKSTORY: TV Carnage video party featuring Thu Tran, creator and star of IFC's AdultSwim-like show Food Party, as well as Matt Fitzpatrick, who does the music for Food Party, and Derrick Beckles, who directed the insane AdultSwim pilot Totally For Teens. They played Food Party shorts with Matt Fitzpatrick playing the music live, as well as Derrick Beckles Totally For Teens and Workout Video projects. And we got Thu Tran to autograph our clipboard!

Preparation
Grasp the fingers of one hand palm upwards and arm straight out in front.
Execution
Lead the fingers down to waist level maintaining a stretch along the upper side of the forearm and bicep.

Preparation
Lie on back with both hands around one knee.
Execution
Pull the knee towards the opposite shoulder pushing the neck down to the mat and keep the spine neutral. Relax the opposite leg.
Variation
Sitting - From a sitting position, bend both knees and place the outside of one ankle on the opposite knee. Push to a higher sitting position to get more stretch.

Preparation
Lie on back and grasp one leg behind the knee with both hands.
Execution
Pull knee toward the chest keeping the other relaxed leg and on the floor. Push neck down and try to keep spine neutral.
Variation
Pull knee towards the chest and straighten the leg.

Instructions
Preparation
Kneel on a mat place the front knee at 90 degrees and both hand on the knee.
Execution
With the back straight rotate the pelvis forward by tucking the abdomen in and squeezing the gluteus (buttocks)
Variation
Place the front foot ahead of the knee.

Preparation
Stand with one hand against the wall and grasp the in-step of the other foot with the other hand.
Execution
Pull the heel towards the buttocks, keeping the back straight, knees together and in line.
Variation
Lying - Lie on side with one hand under head and do as above.

Within her 10 years of experience as a Personal Trainer, Clinical exercise specialist and Fitness Instructor, Edna has worked at the YMCA, Fitness ONE, Bally Total Fitness, and now, Goodlife Canada. Combined with her history of fashion design and make-up artistry, and owns her own Image consulting business, focusing on bringing out confidence in women.
Edna thrives on creating new and Innovative Programs and began doing so for Kids and Youth at the YMCA, "Youth Teaching Youth" fitness and nutrition was a program well-received at the YMCA which focused on giving all youth the tools on becoming ambassadors of health and fitness lifestyles, and Fitkids, a successful summer program for Bally total fitness was an extensive program that introduced youth ages 10-15 to strength and muscle conditioning. But it was 6 years ago that Fit2touch was created.
This is where and when she met her friend Peter, and through the same and complimentary creative philosophies and personal training styles, Fit2touch became a class, and then a dvd, while Peter and Edna became first business, and then life partners. Fit2touch has been featured on many TV news and radio stations: NatRadio, CityTV News, Breakfast Television, and CBC's Living in Toronto, and it all started with a Launch of the DVD in February at Luluemon Athletica.
Peter and Edna's relationship challenges each one to always further their personal fitness goals until they both competed in their first fitness competition in sept. 2007. This is just one example of what lies ahead for the determined and focused couple.
Edna plans to continuously challenge herself and her clients through variety and creativity, and hoping to keep it not only challenging, but fun!
Peter:
Peter Pereira has over 10 years experience as a Certified Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Lifestyle and Weight Management consultant. In his ten years he has helped everyone from the ages of 14 to 80, from recovering heart surgery patients to professional athletes surpass their goals. By gaining experience working at Bally Total Fitness and Goodlife Fitness Canada, Peter has been able to develop his own successful In-home Personal training Company. Here he loves to bring fitness into the homes of his clients where inconvenience and lack of time can no longer be an excuse.
Peter loves brining out the "best" in people and does so through challenging his clients, and himself in a fun and creative way. Recently, he has challenged himself further by competing in his first Fitness modeling competition, where he placed second. He was also featured on the reality TV series called "coverguy" where he made the semi-finalists. He was also selected as one of the 25 Calvin Klein "Canadian Men of Steel" This is only the beginning of his modeling career, as he has just scratched the surface of propelling into the fitness industry.

Execution
Turn body away from positioned arm.
Variation 1
A lower elbow position stretches more upper chest and higher elbow position stretches lower chest.
Variation 2
Place the forearm on the fixed structure with elbow bent to 90 degrees.

Instructions
Preparation
Place the arm high across the chest and hold with other hand.
Execution
Relax shoulder and pull arm toward you.
Variation
Hold a fixed structure with arm extended in front of the shoulder. Pull back gently to stretch keeping the back straight, rotating the hips towards the extended arm.

Erector Spinae
Instructions
Preparation
Lie on back place hands behind head bend hips and knees bent to 90 degrees.
Execution
Roll knees over to ground keeping them together with the upper knee over the lower knee.
Variation
Roll one knee over to the ground and pull down gently with one hand. Leave the other leg relaxed and on the ground.
