Had a chance to photography Cheshire Fire Bridge in work yesterday. They abseiled down the inside of the tower from top to bottom.....I couldn't even look over the edge without my tummy going funny. Great friendly bunch of guys really enjoyed the challenge, thanks lads :)

There are many circles of hell in the world of DIY and today I unlocked a new level!
In the spring we got new Christmas lights for outside the house. It was on my 'must do' summer list job. Unfortunately during the week I had allocated to do it there was nothing but pissing down rain.
That meant it went on to my 'must do' half term job list. Today I did it.
There was quite a bit of high level stuff, and while last time I did things from a window, this time I needed to get up there. That meant I was introduced to the wonderful world of the triple extending ladder.
We've had it a long time, but with all the work I've done I only ever need to use two sections. Three are much more difficult to work with.

Using the BMU attached the tower a team of 2 Techs carried out the window clean on Telstra tower for our Canberra office.
