This is the last one from last weekend I am here salivating at the taughts of hitting the coast again tomorrow for the weekend.. I processed these with new methods I learned from Dave Hunt aka climberhunt I would have taught i was pretty ok with photoshop but after spending a night with Dave I am rethinking. You cant really see any difference at 1000px but at full size and at print the difference is huge. A lot of my images are stepped on fairly heavily with photoshop and I do struggle at print time (mainly down to clumsy processing methods or a heavy foot when it comes to sliders). So in short I am trying tidy up my workflow/processing. Any of you guys in Limerick Camera club it would be well worth your time picking daves brains........

Preliminary Patient Information being recorded

First, I roughly cut the pieces out of white paper, placed them on the poster (for planning), cut a little here and there for correction and then cut the final pieces out of coloured paper.

Later on, I switched from knife to scissors, because of speed and cause my knife sucks.

Having spent all weekend at a diving comp, I've had loads of Video to edit. This "Photo" is a bit cheeky, in that its a screen shot. It shows all the tools I had to use to get the videos how I wanted them

1. Lightroom : I use it for extracting and archiving all media

2. Handbrake : to convert from AVCHD to mp4 so the next program can consume it

3. Windows Live Movie Maker : Because I shot some of the videos portrait, and I haven't found another tool that will simply rotate a video

4. GoPro Studio : I've tried several video editing packages, but this is simple to use, apart from the limited format support.

5. Chrome/ YouTube : To publish. I prefer to have a local copy before uploading to the web. Not ready for the cloud yet

And I haven't even begun playing with the red, green and blue channels yet. Choice, choices.
