A simple clockwork addition to an awesome vest.

Came across this recently on my last trip to Brampton, Ontario.

Part of a series of works where I "paint over" a bought ready-made figurine to transform its identity. This piece is actually a gift from a good friend and was bought in Athens. It is Socrates. But will be something else very soon...stay tuned.

Workinprogress

so excited to find this photo! i started this painting in january and LOST it in my studio after i added color and started collaging. I recently found it again and was able to finish it with this exciting new technique i have been developing that lets me run strings and lasercut shapes all over my paintings. It's on display at City Art now.

I've been working on a charcoal grey winter set for my s.o. Nathaniel. Right now I've completed the scarf. The panda is wearing what I have done for the hat so far.

The yarn I am using is to die for. It's Classic Elite Inca Alpaca color #1177 lot #3033. It is insanely soft and almost oily... it feels like silk even though it's 100% alpaca from Peru. It comes in a number of good colors too... definately going to a repeat customer.

Anyway... after the hat comes the wrist warmers. Look out for those.
