MIRANDOLA - PALAZZO COMUNALE -
La colonna posta nell'angolo nordorientale del Palazzo. Si è staccata dal piedestallo ed è rientrata nella sua sede, durante le scosse di terremoto del maggio 2012.
Several sheets of thick glass were stacked vertically whilst the support frames were painted. The scene drew me to it like a magnet to iron!
This instrument is light-sensitive - the wire Stefania is holding has a little sensor on the end so you can control its rattling and whirring by covering/uncovering the sensor. As it shakes itself, of course, the feather shakes too! The battery is attached to the top of a Matchbox car with a little blob of Blu-Tak so it can follow the can around while it "walks"!
Just purchased a new place in a townhouse complex; this was my first view. Seriously needs a new coat of paint, new carpets in places and a bit of personal redecoration.
Overall - very pleased and happy.
