More work on the face and the first layer on his top scales.

I am not sure that this should be considered an 'armature' in the purist sense of building something on a form, however, clamping a makeshift frame from rabbeted 2x2's to my banding wheel sure makes life a little easier on complex constructions...it either this or I need to grow a third and fourth arm.

The use of the brush in this image is, of course, top secret and highly classified technology *grin*.

Another custom gift mini - complete with custom base. Very much a work in progress at this point. Also my first attempt at Object Source Lighting (OSL) - in this case the stone in his staff.
