We've had no dog houseguests this week and Tommy is loving it.

End of the first week of working at home under the governor's "shelter-in-place" order. I just set up my work table in a storage room in the basement; I'll try to straighten it out this weekend. And, yes, I do use all of those screens. The company I work for was to host a convention in Washington DC over the Memorial Day weekend that was to have over 5000 attendees. We are working quickly to convert it to an online experience; the laptop lower right is used to test video conferencing experiments.

Working from home has the perk of being able to stop frequently during a project to stretch, take some deep breaths, and relax. My employer would allow that at the office too, but I would have a level of self induced guilt if I were

to do that there.

So now, working from home I have learned to give myself the needed breaks my mind and body need.

Also, this Herman Miller Mirra 2 chair is MUCH better than what I have in the office ;)
