These are *all* of the items that are on my desktop at any given point. There's a forthcoming SiliconVapor.com (my blog) post about what this all means.

I'm working on a presentation on geotagging for a technology conference in October. This flowchart outlines the steps for automated geotagging. I'm hoping I haven't left anything out.

(30D & 50mm/f1.4) I'm trying to establish some kind of a workflow for RAW files. My concern is always having an oversaturate d and oversharpened picture. After reading a few posts on several forums I decided to just write down a few steps and stick with them for a while until I become more comfortable with CS2. Here is my workflow so far:

1. RAW to JPG conversion using DPP 3.0

2. Crop (CS2)

3. Shadow, Highlights & Contrast (CS2)

4. USM (CS2)

This is a Workflow I created for my system that will batch process groups of files in one shot! It provides an easy way to batch Spotlight Comment, Label, Rename Sequentially & add additional text to the filename.

been all over the map as of late when it comes to work flow lately. grasshopper, cad to sketches

Workflow:

SPP 5.0.0.1 Win --> Qual.:12 JPEG --> Lightroom 3.4.1

Workflow: Raw -> DxO. Medium HDR in DxO, since it turned out a bit dark.

Le Suquet is the old quarter of Cannes, probably best known to tourists as the climbing, winding cobbled lane lined with local restaurants, Rue St Antoine. Le Suquet contains a clock tower and church that sit high facing east overlooking the Bay of Cannes and Cannes itself. At the bottom of Le Suquet on Rue Dr. P. Gazagnaire is the Marché Forville, where the market is held in the mornings and early afternoon.

This area is the original fishermans' residential area of Cannes. The houses are all very old. The streets were laid out at least 400 years ago. It is a 5-minute walk from the beach and is full of restaurants around the Rue Saint Antoine and the Rue du Suquet. A lot of the area is pedestrianised and is a major tourist attraction for visitors to Cannes.

The rue du Suquet is the original main road into Cannes. It came in below the walls of the castle (for defence reasons). It is a pedestrian street again and has plenty of restaurants [Wikipedia.org]

This workflow waits 30 seconds, then takes a photo using this UNIX script:

The items are then searched for, uploaded to Flickr, then thrown in the trash. Silent, stealthy and the only pop up is a "Workflow Running" message in the menubar.

A move from camera, to lightroom, to photohop. Shows how even if you dont have a light meter and you underexpose the lighting you can still save an image with a little work.

I am going to be writing a blog post about this over at my website today at Dream in Pictures
