Employees work on the Lehigh Railway GP40 #3002 as a pocket of sun opens up on the locomotive. Pittston, PA.
Another from last week, when I made Daisy dress completely after work to take care of some unfinished business. All was well....until I insisted she do her nails. There was definitely a bit of consternation over that...but of course, in the end she followed orders like a good girl. 😉
did a shoot for some fun guys with good tunes! click the link for more photos of them on their myspace. i know that the background is some type of sound proof foam, but i looooved the texture. also watch out for their new album coming out later this month. i hear its awesome, along with my album artwork on it. get it!

Check out the plaid matching! And, yes, those are cufflinks closing the blouse sleeves.
I used Hollywood Pattern 1117 for my plaid skirt, and Simplicity 4602 for my white cotton blouse. Both these patterns are from the year 1943. The skirt is lined, with eight panels and a curved front waistband. My plaid fabric is a soft and nubby linen/rayon blend which has been in my stash for years. The blouse's collar is cut in one with the front (which was challenging), while three buttons leftover from my Grandmother's dress close up the front. For more info, see my blogs: circle.sewweekly.com/profiles/blogs/my-gracie-allen-shopp... for the blouse, and circle.sewweekly.com/profiles/blogs/a-1944-workday-style-... for the skirt.
