Uh-oh, runnin' out of breath, but I
Oh, I, I got stamina
Uh-oh, running now, I close my eyes
Well, oh, I got stamina
And uh-oh, I see another mountain to climb
But I, I, I got stamina
Uh-oh, I need another lover, be mine
Cause I, I, I got stamina
Don't give up, I won't give up
Don't give up, no no no
Don't give up, I won't give up
Don't give up, no no no
I'm free to be the greatest, I'm alive
I'm free to be the greatest here tonight, the greatest
The greatest, the greatest alive
The greatest, the greatest alive
the accuser says.."You're not good enough to be His withness..
or..Wait for a time when they see you as blessed, cause today those "warts" are showing..
or...You call yourself a Christian??..
and the list of doubt and human wisdom takes over and goes on and on.
But as we go out with what i call.."Transparent Authenticity"..warts and all, but in sincerity and passion..the Judge will bring the conviction; as we bare withness to the Good News.
[the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony!]
Know where our responsibility stops; and where His start.

So. Story time. This car is really old. Like...a 1963 or something. And we're kinda working on it/letting it rot in our yard. The insides are all torn up. What Colette didn't realize? There are no handles on the inside of this vehicle. So. I hit the self timer, ran in, shut the door, *click*, goes to open door again, SHIT. Luckily I had my phone in my pocket. I ALMOST left it in the house. So I had to call three of my friends before one finally answered and she had to come rescue me.
So that's the thrilling story behind this photo.
An almost surreal scene, with the work of Free Humanity's colorful hearts, words of encouragement as an unfortunate individual trudges by! In the background is a piece by Fin-Dac a muralist from Cork Ireland, known for his 19th Century woman with eye masks and elegant make up.

You are more than a body full of bones.
You are stronger than the spine that allows you to stand, or the ribs that enclose your heart.
Your skin is thicker than the delicate veins running beneath lead you to believe.
Your name holds more meaning than simply the letters that make it up.
Your spirit is filled with more light than the stars that speckle the blackened sky, or the streetlights to guide home a lost soul.
The vibrations in your voice tell more than just the words that are spoken through it.
You are more than what you possess; money cannot buy what you are.
You are the pigment in a rainbow to signify the ending of a storm.
Your potential reaches further than your job title.
Your dreams are more than just a false reality to be awoken from.
Your life is more than just years along an infinite timeline, it is made up of moments that change the course of history and validate a life.
You will not grow weaker as the years go by; you will be enriched, growing and expanding, much like a tree with many more branches and leaves.
Eventually, you will be somebody’s home; their trusses to hold them up, their shingles to protect from the rain, and their window to a clear view.
You are more than what you can fathom;
more than a name, more than a body, more than a voice.
You are more than a body full of bones.
I hope you all can read these words and apply them to your own life.

...be strong in the Lord ... put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

I just want to say that I love this man. He is a man of strength and integrity and I am blessed to be his wife. Oh we can have our squabbles but we work them through. Recently we've just participated in a marriage course entitled 'Love & War.' It's a very good course. A well known pastor Dr. David Jeremiah has this to say about the series:
" John and Stasi Eldredge lead us into the heart of marriage…not as we always dreamed it would be, but as it really is…a relationship between two flawed individuals who are discovering together that marriage is difficult. Their willingness to speak honestly about their relationship proves the point…that 'loving costs everything but loving is always worth it.' If you are willing to fight for the love and happiness God intended your marriage to provide, every chapter of 'Love & War' will cheer you on!"
Marriage is far from easy, like Dr. Jeremiah said you take two flawed individuals and put them together and it's not always going to be pretty. But beauty comes when we are willing to face each other, to hear each other and to lay down our lives for each other. It takes commitment and surrender.
My husband is a godly man and for that I am very thankful. He led a meeting at our church last night that was at times difficult and I was so proud of the way he walked it through. A Flickr friend of mine, It's a Keeper (Debbie) had sent me a package in the mail a week or so ago and in it were these cards that had quotes and bible verses on them, they're called Life Giving Word cards. They're beautiful, on each card one word stands out above all the others and is written in beautiful calligraphy. I gave my husband two of the cards yesterday to encourage him for the upcoming meeting.
"He who kneels before God can STAND before anyone! "Do not fear for I am with you." Isaiah 41:10
"Your GENTLE "words bring life and health." Proverbs 15:28 "The godly think before speaking." Proverbs 15:28
As we enter into this Christmas season may we take stock of all the many blessings that we have been given, may our eyes be opened to the needy and the lonely and may we give as we have been given. See every encounter as an opportunity to bless, to be a light and lives will change.

A reminder of Easter and the resurrection
Newsboys - You Are My King(Amazing Love)
I'm forgiven because you were forsaken
I'm accepted, you were condemned
I'm alive and well, Your Spirit is within me
Because you died and rose again
Amazing love, how can it be
That You, my King, should die for me?
Amazing love, I know it's true
It's my joy to honor you
In all I do, to honor you
You are my King
Jesus, You are my King
You are my King

For those who have toiled long and hard, and for those whose faith is on shaky ground due to our result orientated culture...Do NOT lose heart in Serving the Lord.
"I heard Robert speak recently. I watched other men carry him in his wheelchair
onto the platform. I watched them lay a Bible in his lap. I watched his stiff fingers force
open the pages. And I watched people in the audience wipe away tears of admiration
from their faces. Robert could have asked for sympathy or pity, but he did just the
opposite. He held his bent hand up in the air and boasted, "I have everything I need for joy."
"His shirts are held together by Velcro®, but his life is held together by joy." Quoted from Max Lucado:
maxlucado.com/pdf/peace.defies.pain.pdf
Isaiah 61:11
For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.
something i received in the mail which i thought would be an encouragement. It was to me.
Don't give up.....
One day I decided to quit...
I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit
my life.
I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
'God', I asked, 'Can you give me one good reason not to
quit?'
His answer surprised me...
'Look around', He said. 'Do you see the fern and the
bamboo?'
'Yes', I replied.
'When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good
care of them.
I gave them light.
I gave them water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth.
Its brilliant green covered the floor.
Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the
bamboo.
In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on
the bamboo. He said.
'In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed.
But I would not quit.
In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I
would
not quit.' He said.
'Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.
Compared
to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant...But just 6
months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it
strong and gave it what it needed to survive.
I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not
handle.'
He asked me. 'Did you know, my child, that all this time you have
been struggling, you have actually been growing roots'.
'I would not quit on the bamboo.
I will never quit on you.'
'Don't compare yourself to others.'
He said.
'The bamboo had a different Purpose than the fern.
Yet they both make the forest beautiful.'
'Your time will come', God said to me.
'You will rise high'
'How high should I rise?'
I asked.
'How high will the bamboo rise?' He asked in return.
'As high as it can?' I questioned.
'Yes.' He said, 'Give me glory by rising as high as you
can.'
I left the forest and brought back this s to ry.
I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on
you.
Never, Never, Never Give up.
For the Christian Prayer is not an option but an opportunity.
Don't tell the Lord how big the problem is,
tell the problem how Great the Lord is!
Does absolute truth exist?
Is there a thin line that distinguishes good from evil?
Is one man's justice defined as another's evil?
I rememember a time when right and wrong was a whole lot clearer, than in todays self justification with twisted truth; where right is wrong and wrong is right.
So welcome the Truth and love it, so that that thin line may yet be distinguishable.
And for a glimpse of this thin line..where the Truth is welcomed and embraced, and where love and justice overules evil, please take the time to view this story, ..with your heart. See selfless love in action and be reminded of the One on the cross.

...and with refrence to current events, God looks beyond the external, unlike man..and as a paradox, He also gives us what we deserve sometimes....
Yet..He works for the good of those who submit and love Him.
We Adore You..

...and finally some sober warnings:
2 Chronicles 36:15-17:
15 ) And the LORD, the God of their fathers, sent word to them again and again by His messengers, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place;
16) but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, until there was no remedy.
