As you know, I love wordplay, especially in the titles and descriptions of my photos.
But, despite being lucky with planting flowers around the house, I have little knowledge of the names of the vast majority of popular plants. Blame it on my hating Botany and Biology as subjects when I was growing up.
Also, flower closeups do not often have external elements to tie into a word-play story.
This picture was hard for me to title, except that I wanted to say something about the bird like beak on these plants in flowerbeds of Rockfeller Center, New York City, recently.
Then I realized the multiple puns possible. You can look at the sharp shape, and see the range of colors you would find in the iPhoto or Photoshop histograms of fall foliage photos if you wanted to improve the photo. (This photo has NO enhancements done to it).

FAN-DANGO, a bit of a wordplay...
A photographer friend asked an interesting question, why do YOU take photographs?
One answer for me is I love the challenge, and it still and always is!
Now it is with lighting, different objects and making it all work together the way I want it, and still be surprised, ALWAYS thrilled.
Another prop of Summer, these things bring back memories from deep within... your childhood... paper flowers, decorations, bunting? Paper fans. LOL
How can I resist, such superb colours, another photo begging to be taken.

This photo is from a cemetery with a stone at the entrance stating, "farewell." The word farewell began as the phrase “fare well”, a heartfelt imperative meaning “travel well” or “go safely”. Now, farewell carries a tone of finality, reserved for more solemn or significant departures, suggesting not just goodbye until tomorrow, but for a more permanent separation. Under those terms, if it is to be taken literally, it's best not to enter this cemetery on Halloween.

Do you know that to find mein Zimmer (my room, my art) to me, is very very important.
Hier wohnte damals meine Familie und ich.
Ich suchte zwar auch eine andere Wohnung, sollte umziehen,
war aber auch mit meiner Selbstfindung beschäftigt.

While I was looking for also another apartment, should move, but was busy with my self-discovery.

Finished a big series for the book, and thought I would take a day off working on something different. Decided to redo one of my old concepts from my "365" days - to see how much I've developed. Quite "shocked" by the difference.

This was shot 23.30 in Utakleiv, Lofoten, Norway.
I had done my shots on the beach and was heading towards another location when I from my car saw this scene. The title came to me as I looked in the back of my camera.. I just love wordplays for titles.. It comes with the age I guess:p
I didnt even leave the car. I pulled of a few shots and was fairley happy and was looking at my shots as I saw the seagull. I aimed and burst of 12-15 frames.. This was the bulls eye:-)
The scene in Utakleiv was very busy this night. In the midst of the tourist season it was swarming with big mobile homes and tents eeverywhere. I`m guessing it was about 200 people there..
I might enter this shot into a competition so if someone have some imput on the cropping I will welcome it. I have more space on the right.
Still waiting for the fall in October.
I think my levitating globe has turned into a pumpkin. That's what happens when you get your office toys from a fairy godmother.
Sail-Off: Sailboat vs Sailboat - IMRAN™
During a short dog walk in my neighborhood, I recorded a video clip of a tiny sailboat heading out towards the wider Tampa Bay waters, as a somewhat larger sailboat was heading back home. I took this still photo during the recording. A sailboats face-off sounded like a sail-off without any boating sell-off. This is an unedited low resolution iPhone 13 Pro Max photo, SOOC (straight out of camera).

All My (Birds Of A Feather Flock {Of Seagulls} Together} In A Row - IMRAN™
How many can you count? There are almost as many birds in this photo as there are bad puns in the title. I know they are not all my ducks in a row, but it was interesting to see this sight. A flock of seagulls, like the name of the music group, atop the roof as I looked at my blessed home when I was walking the dogs this Monday morning.
There will often be a bird or two around, but this was unique. One was perched at the center peak, while there were literally about 3 dozen others standing in a row on either side. Then I looked closer and noticed that there are two at the peak, both so identically positioned you almost see only one. But look closer and you can see the other one's tail too.
This is a panorama stitched from 3 handheld iPhone 11 Pro Max photos with NO editing to the colors at all. That is how powder blue the sky was at Tampa Bay, Florida today.
The stitching program created some errors where you can see the windows of the home are deformed. But the birds are the true (roof above my) head(in/one)liners of this photo story. Sorry, that one was hard to resist!

The incredible foggy morning on Tampa Bay today was something to savor. I had my iPhone camera ready for whatever interesting visual would transpire. I knew it would turn out to be a unique moment.
A surreal scene. The sky, sea, and sand blending into one made the perfect backdrop. It starkly silhouetted my two German Shepherds.
You can see Kennedy on the left watch playful K2 approaching him from the right. I clicked just as it seemed like a staring showdown, starting shenanigans.

Sun & Sons Of/On A Beach - IMRAN™
I was able to take a walk on the soft wet sands of Tampa Bay off my blessed home & neighborhood in Apollo Beach, Florida, this gorgeous afternoon. K2, to the left, and Kennedy, to the right in this photo, were just back from sprinting across the shoreline “hunting” seagulls that had flown off a short while prior. Kennedy was just emerging from wading in the cold water.
I snapped the picture during a video recording on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. I love how the afternoon sun to the left shone lighting up the sand to the left and silhouetting my Symphony Isles neighbor’s dock and steps to the seaside.
The waters in the middle and to the right next to Andalucia took on magnificent light and dark cold blue colors befitting the fairly chilly 40-60F weather we’ve had. The sun shone on the beach and the two sons of bitches running and sunning on the beach.

Kennedy, Not Barking, Just Basking In The Glow (Of A Christmas Fire) - IMRAN™
Thankfully my blessed home in Apollo Beach, and the Tampa Bay area in Florida, rarely get truly cold in winter. But I try to light up the various fireplaces here at least once every year, usually on a chilly winter’s eve in the holidays. A beautiful beloved friend, whom I also owe for the gift of Kennedy she gave me, took this photo. The always chill German Shepherd posed for this portrait fireside, while casually resting his paw on my leg. No barking, just basking in the glow of love, and the fire.

K2, my two years old German Shepherd Dog, believes that his common German heritage with my once supposedly-fancy car gives him the right to treat it like an open entertainment play cage. That’s how the Mercedes Benz S65 V12 AMG’s limited “designo” white leather and black wood under his claws turn into a GSD-in-Oh K2 OMG black, white, and brown fur-covered perch for him to look around over the sunroof. Kennedy, the older GSD, was thankfully peacefully watching the world out the rear passenger window. But even his fur still is probably also permanently fused inside the hand-built engine’s titanium rods. 😂😂

One Year, All Ears, (In) A Flash(ing Smiles) - IMRAN™
It is amazing how quickly a whole year flies by. This photo was taken on June 5, 2020.
K2, then a 13-weeks old puppy, had been home with Kennedy and me for only about 6 weeks. But he already was four times the size (double the length, double the width) he was when I got him.
Always being happy, smiling, and playful is a trait we seem to share. Apparently being constantly aroused is another shared attribute among the three males in this home and photo. Red, black, and brown colors are another shared feature.
The Nikon flash mounted on the Nikon D850 reflected directly in the window behind me. I am glad that the colors and tones are not too bad, and it gave me a good wordplay angle for the title of this brief "moments of my blessed happy life" story I love to share. Thanks for the love and appreciation.

I know, I know, it’s a boat but a boating vessel and a Ship are usually of similar Shape, so the wordplay fits with the title. I’m so blessed to have such Open views from my blessed Home, overlooking Tampa Bay, Florida. Since I’m on my laptops most of the time, I am grateful I can use any Open Space as an Open Office, running Microsoft Office, with open Windows near open windows, or MacOS, rather than any shipping Open office software. OK, I will quit this window full of corny flowing pairs of puns!
