I was hiding in it from the rain.
Surprisingly, the first gazebos appeared about 5000 years ago, and it happened in Ancient Egypt. Then the sale of ready-made gazebos was impossible, and each building had a bright personality. ... According to Egyptian beliefs, the garden personified paradise, and the gazebo was an integral part of it.
A gazebo is a light architectural structure, usually located in a garden or park, with benches and a table, designed to protect from rain and direct sunlight, and used for relaxation and conversation.
The shape of the arbors can be very diverse. The simplest type is four posts covered with a straight or hipped roof; along the bottom, the columns are surrounded by a wall on three sides; with the fourth - the entrance is open; benches go along the walls, and in the middle a table is placed on a fixed bedside table. Arbors, in addition, are polygonal or round.
Gazebos are extremely diverse in terms of their design, appearance and materials used for their construction. Most often they are made from wood, iron and natural stone. In the first case, they are made in Russian, Swiss or Chinese style; in the latter case, they are given a more monumental character and the forms of the ancient classical styles, Greek and Roman, or forms of the Renaissance style are applied to them.

Island Summary:
A fabulous tidal walk across the Dwyryd Estuary to reach this island that sits in the shadows of the mountains of Snowdonia and the spires of the Italianate village of Portmeirion. The walk crosses beautiful salt marsh and expansive tidal sands for the ultimate in wild swim in the sun-warmed pools. It is also possible to explore the beautiful foreshore of Ynys Gifftan. It is a great place to explore if you are walking the Wales Coast Path between Porthmadog and Harlech

Wooden footbridge through a high moor in the Solling low mountain range (approx. 450 m above sea level). The peat had been mined from the 19th century. It was not until the beginning of the 1980s that the moor was renatured. According to the information, the complete regeneration of the raised bog will still take a few decades! The fauna and flora are already unique and worth seeing.
