There's a unique park off of I-94, near Battle Creek, Michigan. It's the Calhoun County Historic Bridge Park.

The bridge in this picture is the "133rd Avenue Bridge", built in 1897 for $715. Originally, it crossed the Rabbit River in Hopkins Township, Allegan County. According to the park's description, this bridge is a "four-panel, half hip, pin-connected Pratt steel and wrought iron truss bridge." That's a lot of words to describe a bridge that's only 64 feet (19.5m) long!!

The 133rd Avenue Bridge is the first bridge to be restored and relocated to the bridge park. There are currently five historic bridges at the park.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Crazy Tuesday is Wood Grain. Of course we have Mr. Teddy Bear with us in order to celebrate Happy Teddy Bear Tuesdays. So lets celebrate another amazing orange - wood grain- teddy bear day !

Mr. Teddy Bear love the forest and there is lots of wood in his house. Since he lives in a city, he likes to decorate his house with wood. This way, whenever he misses the smell or the texture of a real forest, he can touch a piece of wood in his house… And as you can see in this picture he has a huge « slice » of an old tree… you can count the circles and you will see how old it is ! And compare to Mr. Teddy Bear it is very big…This tree was huge and very old. And the texture of the wood is absolutely beautiful …So Mr. Teddy bear can daydream about the forest every time he sees this awesome wooden piece.

In real life, this piece of wood is part of a set of wooden blocks for children. It is very smooth and perfect as an eco friendly toy for kids. Unfortunately, there is no more children interested in this toy here so I use it as decoration ;-). Just like Mr. Teddy Bear…

But, I have to run since I have another meeting in few minutes !! I will be daydreaming about wandering in the forest for sure…

So mucho, mucho amor for you all !! See you later my friends and have an amazing day !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

😄 HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday 😄 (evening), everyone : ))

Sorry - busy week ... still trying to catch up !!

For Crazy Tuesday: Woodgrain (this is my oak staircase)

Every day, I lace up my shoes and go for a walk (with my dog). I was big on walking and running before I got my dog and I use her as my excuse to make sure I get out and walk on the days I don't feel very motivated. Where I live it Canada I get every kind of weather you can possibly think of...somedays I am freezing my ass off in the middle of winter or melting in the middle of summer but it doesn't matter because walking (exercise) is good for the mind, body and soul...one step at a time.

Thank you for your visit! HaPpY cRaZy TuEsDaY!!

Life is beautiful. There is wonder and beauty everywhere. See it. Embrace it. And then share it with the world...

I would love to say that this pretty corner was in our home but it’s not lol. It’s a scene set up in our local garden centre that I thought looked so cute with lots of different wood grain.

Thanks for viewing and HCT 😀

This winter seems like we are drifting in time as we watch the progression in this pandemic. But I am learning new things and I feel I am becoming a more curious person.

This is another composite using a wood grain image I took and blending other images I had in my files. Happy Sliders Sunday.
