Loyola students prepare in the Residential Quad on main campus for the university's annual day of service Nov. 5, 2011.
Wolves on the Prowl is the Loyola community's annual day of service. Events are planned and led by the Loyola University New Orleans Alumni Association and Student Government Association. Members of the Loyola community are paired with programs throughout the country that need help.

Saw a pack of wolves on our Newfoundland-Labrador trip! Young ones. Pulled over and they came within about 30 yards of the truck.

This one took no part in the squabble amongst the other wolves. Taken at Zooz Nature Park, Stevensville, Ontario.
The best time to study these wolves are when it's feeding time. They do not like to share their meat.Plus they are more active when foraging for food.
It's hard to get good shots through a double fence. This winter will find me shelling out the $300 to get a private photo session with them. All the money that the preserve brings in goes toward the care of the animals.
