Check out this awesome new image from X-Men Origins : Wolverine, currently featured in Empire Magazine! The picture features Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, in a jacket that some may recognise from the X-Men films.

Wolverines are one of the largest members of the weasel family. They are extremely strong and very aggressive and have been observed forcing larger animals, like bears, cougars and packs of wolves, away from their food. They mark their territory, and even their food, with their scent glands. Wolverines have powerful jaws that can crush bones and oily fur that repels water, which helps to make the animal resistant to frost.
This is a scan of an old pic from several years ago...this is most of my Wolverine collection. :)
I have more X-Men stuff but it's currently all packed away...I hope some day to have enough room to display it all. :)

This continues a series of personal work that started with the Legend of Zelda portfolio. I've been hoping to start a series of images based on my personal passions related to video games, comic books, movies, etc.
Matt Smigiel is a graduate from the New Hampshire Institute of Art who does amazing comics, cartoon and comic book style artworks. He's currently shopping around his first completed graphic novel, "Iris".
Matt pretty much IS Wolverine. He's a big Wolverine fan, I'm a big Wolverine fan. Hey, let's get together and make you Wolverine. I couldn't even get the complete sentence out of my mouth before he said "OMG YES!!!!"

At first I was all "Wow. If only we could harness this power for good". Then I realized that mass Red Dawn/Wolverine shout-outs were pretty much as good as anyone could ever do on twitter. Then I felt awesome. Like a God. If God wanted people to scream "WOLVERINES!". Which I bet he totally does.
