Day 19 - 8-20-11

Today is my first real day alone.

It feels great!!!

This is my new home. For the next 6 years.

I wokeup at 8 worked on my chem aleks. Went to CVS to look for a mini usb cable -_-

Then i went to subway to get some lunch.

Saad my roommate moved in today!

Im gonna go play some ball in a bit. After some more ALEKS! im almost halfway! 9 more days.

Lookin forward to the gym! more Bi's and Tri's

Day 15 - 8-16-11

I DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TODAY!!!

Wokeup and worked out right away. Then my day proceeded to nothing.

Then we went to Cheddars to hang with Wei!

Finally came back from Taiwan. lol freakin fob.

I LOVE THEIR CROSSAINTS!

Day 21 - 8-22-11

We wokeup and me and Wei went to get Pita Pit! So yum.

Later we met up with Andrew and Saad went to get stuff at Walmart!

Such a long bus ride and long walk!

We walked across FWY 71! Where i took this shot of Saad.

We came back and chilled!

Gonna hit up the gym tonight to get some Chest work in!

Wokeup on the good side of the bed this morning.

NOTHING went right today, my chemistry teacher puts a downer on my morning, then to end my school day I forget some characters in chinese and screwed up my reading.

Still, after all that I'm pretty happy.

Took Max to the dogpark an gave him a bath:) I'm ready to collapse in my bed.

Day 8 - 8-9-11

Sorry for the super late post.. didnt get home until 6:30 AM.

Game night was super fun... they played Phase 10... didnt know how to play and then Pictionary! Me and Andrew won... Cause we boss.

Then came home, slept for like 30 mins, and got screamed at until i wokeup. -_- morning arguments are the best...

Woke up one morning and the sun was coming through the window so thought I'd try and capture it. Unfortunately it clouded over before the end.

A little camping trip to Mull of Kintyre on the West of Scotland gave me this sunset. One of the most beautiful places in the world.

The black dot in the middle of the water is a seal. Its whole body was out of the water though so it basically looked like it was levitating. It was obviously on a masssive rock that just touched the surface.

The island across the water is called Jurra.

Wokeup late. FELT GRRREAT

Then did a tapioca run for her, since... idk just wanted to surprise her. :D .... DIDNT WORK. Fail.

Went to chill with Danh

Cameback to my place she came over to do the 4 Seasons thingy... failed we were lazy.... D:

So we just laid there and chilled talked and played cards :D

WAS SO FUN I DIDNT REMEMBER ABOUT THIS....

then i jogged.

While this lesson seemed shorter and easier than the others, it was actually very misleading as it was quite challenging.

There was a bit of wet-on-wet painting required for this one so you had to work fast.

I broke my one rule of not starting a painting at night, and I suffered from that Monday night so I wokeup Tuesday morning to restart it.

It was definitely a challenge all the way through. I tried to stick with the technique in the lesson, but it was hard to get right. I had to draw on techniques from other lessons to get it to a decent point.

In the end, I'm pretty happy with the clouds turned out although it was hard to see where it was going throughout. Obviously, the foreground is not the focus and only painted in with very simple fields.

But today was aight... went and bought tickets to go back to Houston...

Capital America is cheaper by $10 but its sooooo not worth it.... -__-

24Oct09 - Day 8

yes, the jet lag worked pretty well on me today, I woke up at 11:00 :P, I just got a shower, made the shot (the camera shot, not the other one! :P) and now I am posting this pic in my office...

I am ready for lunch :D

Wokeup early today, and can only got a couple of good shots, the sun is extremely bright >.<

I accidently woke up his highness from his nap and I got this look.

Day 20 - 8-21-11

2nd Day in Austin alone. Wokeup to a decent night. Wasnt horrible. Wasnt great.

Had Instant Noodles for breakfast. College life!

Worked on Chemistry ALEKS for HOURRSSS :{

Caught up with a friend for an hour.

Shit happens in two days... whats gonna happen after a year?! :O

Andrew and Wei moved in today! Chilled with them.

Then went to the gym for some KILLER Bi's and Tri's :D

Got some protein and dinner!

Cameback and was gonna catch the bus to Walmart for a bolgna run! :P

But we just went to get some not so good Tapioca!

Now im back in my room chillin!

LARGER ON BLACK or go to hell

So today i wokeup early to fix all the bureaucratic things about my car accident and getting a new temporary car (and going to work) .. I got the car at like 1PM, the time to come back home and lunch it was already 2PM..

I decided to NOT go to work and go for a daytrip in Charlevoix with my new rented Nissan Versa :) The temperature was not awesome.. but at least i had my circular polarizer to pimp the colors..

I took those shots (3) somewhere called Cap-aux-Oies (Cape-Goose)

I look weird because I just woke up.

I LOVED the layout of this picture and the look on the girl's face.

30km (from my hosts house in Kagoshima City to the ferry port and) from Motobu City's Ferry Port to Nago City via R449. The ferry took 25 hours so I arrived at 6pm and cycled in the dark. I spent the night by the Local Sports Hall (Taikan) and wokeup to see what the city looks like under a blue sky.
