Wet, raining at cold, but my Becky and I had a great weekend of birding on the Wisconsin River. We counted 7 eagles. This one was on a very raining sand dune in Portage Wisconsin off of West Edgewater St. We also saw hawks, and Junco oh and we saw not one but 2 snowy owls at Horicon!

The lower Wisconsin River is popular with anglers and, like most large rivers, a variety of fish may be caught.
