Was once a vast wet-mesic prairie now standing water over a corn field from recent spring rains along Beaver Rd. in Prairie du Sac Township, Sauk County WI.
Another HDR, handheld as I had no decent tripod at the time, and thus there is excessive ghosting in the details. But I love the composition so much, I had to post it.
3 bracketed exposures with Canon 40D, merged in Photomatix, and adjusted in Photoshop CS3.

We side tracked to Dells on the way back from north, the Wisconsin River was overflowing. We left just as the storm settled back in the area causing major flooding.

The Wisconsin River is a tributary of the Mississippi River. At approximately 430 miles (692 km) long, it is the state's longest river.
In this weeks installment of Walking with Dad we decided to go out even though the temps have cooled down. We just went up to Baraboo and walked along the Wisconsin river.
When our walk was done we grabbed subs at Milio's and then watched the Packers Bears game back at the Pines.
It was a good day, and the Packers were actually able to get a win without Aaron Rodgers at QB.
