Our sweet girl Kobe is another one of sanctuary cats. She has had some tough times in her life, and she really prefers to be at the shelter. She needs time to warm up to you, but once she does, she makes it a point to come by you for pettings. After a little coaxing, you can get her to play with string toys. Kobe is a very gentle kitty.

This plant was built between 1908 and 1915 and was operated by the Mineral Point Public Service Co. In 1924 the plant was sold to the Wisconsin Power & Light Co. It now appears to be privately owned and no longer a power plant.

After walking up and down Main Street, we stopped at the bar on the corner, the Bridge Street Pub... Next was dinner at the Beaumont, which is part of The Audubon Inn. It was wonderful!
