Hello,

I have a old scrap book that I put together when I was attending OHS from 1969-1970 of track, cross country and related articles/pictures. I cut them out of the Daily Press and glued them on paper.

Here is the write up under this photo:

"AGGIE CHEERLEADERS WERE HONORED at the Ondossagon athletic banquet Thursday night in barksdale. On hand to give out the awards was Diane Lee, at left. Girls receiving the awards were from Left Susan Kacvinsky, Janice Lumberg, Darlene Anderson and Carol Opatik."

I love tinted linen postcards for their otherworldly hues. I picked up a few on a recent excursion to the Antique Gallery in Spring, TX.

Simply a great card.

"Greetings from Mandalay Lounge and Bar, Hotel Racine; Racine, Wis. The Midwest's Newest and Finest. Delightfully cool and refreshing, with modern air conditioning - Distinctive Burmese surroundings. A showplace for discriminating people."

By the looks of things they discriminated against everybody ... bartenders, lounge lizards or patrons of any sort.
