Rich, gorgeous deep purple natural Amethyst round faceted beads are combined with 24k Gold Vermeil (24K gold-plated over sterling silver) bead caps and round Vermeil beads that are wire wrapped onto 24kt Gold Vermeil twisted rings and hung on Vermeil french hook ear wires. Earring length is approximately 1 1/4”.
The name has nothing to do with the movie of the same title -- instead, it's a reference to the Roman name for Hera. The earrings reminded me of peacocks, which was one of her symbols. I used a variety of glass and crystal beads for this tiered look, and they're all individually wrapped on copper wire and linked together. The earrings are definitely "shoulder dusters" -- they measure about 4" long from the tops of the ear-wires to the lowest pearl dangle. Nothing but the best for the queen of the Roman pantheon!

I named this piece after one of the Greek goddesses of the sea: Thalassa, otherwise known as "a goddess of lonely shores." I thought the name seemed apt given the oceanic colors of this piece: aquamarine and teal mother-of-pearl beads with copper wire and connected with antiqued copper jump rings to form a "beadmail" pattern. This piece measures about 15" and is finished with a handmade copper clasp that hooks into a 2" extender.

I created this pendant by making a frame out of heavy copper wire, then added turquoise and wood beads. I strung it on a black leather cord to keep the focus on the pendant.
