Copper Necklace with hand crafted beads. I'm so proud of these beads :-D It's a little silly, I know, but I made them completely by hand with no tool and they look to me pretty nice. Strong and absolutely not easily compressible! The other side of the coin is that they take a long time to be made.. From 2 to 3 hours each bead, argh!
This is Pollen, a necklace I made out of copper wire, seed beads, Swarovsky crystals and sequin flowers. All metal components, including clasp and jump rings, are handmade.
Made this with some things I picked up from a gem and rock show recently. It kind of reminds me of a princess or something like a fairytale.

This one is named after the Sumerian goddess of love and war, Inanna. I just thought it looked like something a goddess would wear! It's made from hessonite and iolite semi-precious beads, all wire-wrapped with copper wire and attached together with jump rings in a "sunburst" beadmail pattern, then finished with antiqued copper chain. It measures about 16" and is finished with a toggle clasp.

Citrine belongs to the quartz family, although it is often mistakenly called topaz. The name citrine comes from the French citron (lemon), which refers to its color. The Greeks and Romans used citrine for intaglios and cabochons during the first and second centuries. This gemstone was worn as a protective talisman and used for medicinal purposes; it was thought to aid in digestion and cleanse toxins from the body. To some, citrine symbolized lightheartedness and joy.
Before oxidising. My version of the Art Jewelry magazine project. Some weaves I've not done before so good practise. Did it very fast in an afternoon as that's all the time I had, not as perfect as I would have liked, but I'll keep it for me.
Like the technique a lot but need to get thinner wire. This was tough to bend:)
