As I wrap up the last library from this winter landscape, I stumbled upon a breathtaking sunset over the Liberty Building and City Hall. Looking north toward Canada, you can even spot a wisp of mist from Niagara Falls in the distance.
Buffalo winters can be brutal—though, to be fair, the Western Plains and Great Lakes have it even worse right now. But moments like this remind me why I love this city, especially in the summer.
Leaving behind something you love is never easy, but sometimes, it’s what helps you grow the most.
