After several days of temperatures below zero, snowstorm and snowshowers, this is what Reine looks like in all its winter splendour.

I discovered this scene in Uttakleiv and liked the huge mountain next to the farmhouse, with the dark snowcloud looming in the distance.

Today a snowstorm is going on, but I took so many photos yesterday that I need time to view them all and choose my favourite ones. Above this is one of them, the light on Lofoten is just incredible. The sun on this just lasted for a minute and then it clouded over.

Schnee - Nebel - Reif - Sonne und das Auge für einfach schöne Dinge. Rechts ist meine Fußspur und so einige Wildtiere finden diesen Park von Rosengarten auch schön. Eigentlich muss man nur vor die Tür gehen egal wo man wohnt, um solche Schönheiten zu sehen.

Aber die Medien haben es gezeigt und tausende fahren an die Küste und wollen ein Foto machen von der vereisten Mole, jeder hat da nun sein Foto, trotz Corona!

Winter wonderland

Beautiful scenery with that special winter light in pastel colours.

Over the last few days on Lofoten, the weather was a mix of clouds and sunshine, with snowshowers in between. Wonderful winter landscapes everywhere, I love Northern Norway in winter !

Due to the often windy conditions on Lofoten, the clouds move rapidly, with sometimes beautiful light.
