This campus is sometimes used in shows and movies. I’ve seen it in Locke and Key as well as Work It on Netflix. I think I’ve read it is also used in Umbrella Academy. I have yet to come across it in the show. I am on Season 1.

San Bernardino was originally inhabited by the indigenous Yuhaaviatam prior until the Spanish first discovered the land in 1772? The Spanish named the indigenous natives the ‘Serranos’ or ‘Mountaineers.’
About 40 years later, the area was named, what we now know as, San Bernardino.
More surprisingly, in 1845 ‘Big Bear’ was given the name as the original ‘Big Bear Lake’ was crawling with grizzly bears, hence the name ‘Big Bear.’
If you’re familiar with the area, you’ll be surprised that the current Baldwin Lake was actually the original Big Bear Lake! The Big Bear Lake we now know did not get its name until 50 years later after the established name Big Bear.
