Looking Close ... On Fridays ~ Winter Flora
Planted in the Autumn, in my new garden bed, my Helleborus 'Double Queen Mixed' (Lenten rose) are now starting to flower. I can't wait for more of them to open.
Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. Any comments or Faves are very much appreciated.
For "Looking close... on Friday!" and "Winter Flora"
I shot these frozen daisies this morning in my garden,
Have a great weekend ahead and thank you for visiting.
For Looking close...on Friday "Winter Flora".
Hard to believe we have such gorgeous flowers growing here in Malmö in Winter time. The color is so delicate and truly reminding of Spring more than anything.
Let's all enjoy these last months of Winter ...soon the light takes over and flowers will be flourishing in any color.
Have a beautiful Friday!
4/52 Winter Flora - Looking Close on Friday
I live on the south coast of England, so it's Winter here, but it's not very Wintery.
However, here in Bexhill there is a seaside garden running along the promenade, and that has this Wintery looking foliage from the Santolina plant family. This is just a little tip of one stem, and the widest part at the bottom is about 5cm across.
My friend Jay lives across the way but only in the summer. She allows me to feed the birds in her back lot. There are huge berry bushes with several varieties of flora mixed together (red berries with blue berries etc). And the birds love them.
The blue berries really stood out:)
Happy Textured Tuesday!
For my Texture friends, I can't find Kersten Frank's gallery anymore? Thoughts?

Unseasonably warm weather has brought out a few of my snowdrops, so (in between the rain and gales) I thought I would have a go at photographing them. It was quite a surprise to find a tiny spider suspended just above them, presumably also appreciating the warmth.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to view, comment, and fave my photo. It’s really appreciated.
