Winter2017 photos on Flickr

There are times when a photographer is out taking photos that stand out and are rare and unforgettable. this is one of those images. This was a shot from winter of 2017, it was a minus 20 degree day, a very brisk day for a walk and the snow was coming down very fast ;when suddenly the sky opened up and the sun burst through with a glare and haze that was blinding. I posted a version of this once before but this is a closer tighter image and it still brings back the memory of that icy day in december like it was yesterday.

Looking down at the trees in the ravine slowly disappearing in the distance on a foggy day. It dominates the view from our house and makes it feel very gray and dismal. Definitely press "L" for the best view.

Hot 'n Cold Posbank winterish walk by nldazuu.com

Last sunday I hiked around over the Posbank with a photo friend of mine. I actually walked several times in this great scenery covered in white. This sunday I decided to leave my big and bulky 5DMIII at home, and took on the G7X and a light weight tripod. Thanks to the subtile HDR function of Lightroom CC you can expose these kind of images. Little is not always less.
