Another new feature is the "progress bar" style disk space indicator on each drive in the "computer" window which changes color depending on capacity. The mouseover of a minimized taskbar window is clever as well. (desktop wallpaper is 'Un mare di ghiaccio' from kenyai's photostream).

I was fortunate to be commissioned by Microsoft to prepare images for the Windows Vista project. Here is one of them. See my Windows Vista set for some others.

I've had trouble with this computer ever since I bought it, in May. I tried to get a new computer with XP, instead of the new Vista....no luck!

Just to be sure it was the computer, and not the monitor, I hooked up my camera to the monitor.....it works......

sigh....

Here is a picture taken @ Worst Buy (best buy lol) Of a pirated version of Windows Vista before its out in stores very funny.

Dramatic capture in a macro setting. The out of focus portion is minimal and the lighting is more than enough to illuminate. :-)

Window Of Opportunity

Moran Point, Grand Canyon NP, March 2006.

Inside an abandoned souvenier shop on old Route 66 in Arizona as a thunderstorm gathers overhead. A hot wind was blowing at the time ~ It was pretty awesome to see and experience.

Sunset, Kelso Dunes, Mojave National Preserve. They really turn gold.

All the windows belong to the village of Caorle, in the Venice area.

Buds of Red Santan, wait til they blossom.

My new haircut with, and this was strangely intentional on my part, the Windows Vista login screen in the background.

Yes, I did stage this... but still...

Saguaro and Ocotillo, Saguaro NP, March 2006. Definitely best viewed large.

On January 7 (a week before the keynote) I received a mailing by Visa, in which I could win a MacBook if I choose Visa Online (Dutch). The folder was shaped as a MacBook, but I immediately associated it with the to-be-announced MacBook Air. Apple came pretty close in Thinnovation, but the Visa is a bit too sexy. Especially with the uncalled for bikini shot.

A look at some windows in the Hartford, CT business area through a window at the Connecticut Convention Center. The green-tinted glass structure is the Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Building.
